How USATestprep Developed Its North Carolina End-of-Course Tests (EOC) Review

End of Course

North Carolina End-of-Course Tests (EOC)
Beginning with the 2006-2007 entering 9th grade class, all public High School students in the state of North Carolina are required by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to take and pass comprehensive End-of-Course tests in Algebra I, English I, US History, Civics and Economics, and Biology. The content of these tests is based on material students should be exposed to by the end of each class. If students do not pass each of these tests, they have a maximum of two retest opportunities before completing 12th grade. Accommodations for students with disabilities and English Language Learners are available.
